The Gilas gilet is made for everyday wear, crafted in Italy from exquisitely soft suede shearling. Reversible, with a clean front closure and hidden hooks for a seamless finish, and slim welt pockets.

Simple in design and versatile in use, the gilet is made for layering: warm, functional and sophisticated all at once. Wear it under an oversized coat, or as an outer layer on its own.

Our shearlings are sourced from deadstock, carefully selected based on availability at the time, which means colors are limited and ever-changing, making your gilet nearly one of a kind.

A few simple steps to help preserve your gilet:

Avoid contact with water, and store it in its cotton dust bag, away from direct heat and in a cool, dry place. If the gilet gets wet, hang it up and let it air dry naturally, away from direct heat sources.

For stains or cleaning, we recommend taking it to a specialist leather and fur cleaner.

Fits true to size. Please note that measurements may vary slightly from piece to piece, as each shearling comes from a different animal and batch, so the texture and character of the fur can vary naturally.

Each gilet also goes through an artisanal production process, which adds to its unique, one-of-a-kind character.
